CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE ROLE OF MULTIPLIER
AT EURODESK, THE EUROPEAN INFORMATION NETWORK 2026 – 2027
The Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP), as the coordinator of the Cyprus National Office for Eurodesk, announces a call for applications for organisations interested in assuming the role of Multiplier of the Eurodesk Network.
THE EURODESK NETWORK
Eurodesk is a European network founded in 1990 and co-funded by the European Commission as a supporting structure of the European Erasmus+ programme. The main objective of the network is to inform youth about mobility opportunities and promote active citizenship. Eurodesk is a structure with 38 coordination offices in 36 European countries and more than 4000 youth information providers, delivering free access to valid information and guidance to young people and people working for and with youth on a variety of opportunities across Europe (mobility opportunities, volunteering, exchange opportunities, work, traineeships, non-formal learning, participation in decision-making and civic engagement).
Eurodesk Cyprus also contributes to the content of the European Youth Portal and provides answers to Cyprus-related questions submitted through the “Ask a Question” option.
MULTIPLIERS
The Eurodesk network comprises of over 1400 multipliers in 36 countries across Europe. Multipliers are entities, active at a local, national, or regional level (e.g. youth centres, associations, non-governmental organisations, municipalities) which constitute the Eurodesk network, together with the national coordinators. As members of their respective national network, multipliers work with each other and with the national coordinator to ensure that the mobility information collected by the network reaches young people through support actions, events, and information campaigns.
The Eurodesk Cyprus network of multipliers is regularly updated so that the support and information structure for youth in Cyprus remains active, diverse, and productive. Upon completion of the application process, the selected organisations will take on the role of multiplier for two years starting 1st January 2026, with the possibility to renew their contract, and will receive the necessary training from the National Coordinator of Eurodesk Cyprus.
More information on Eurodesk Multipliers for each country in the network can be found on the Eurodesk map.
The role of Multipliers
Multipliers are expected to be open and accessible to young people as a source of quality youth information on European mobility and youth participation opportunities. They must follow the Eurodesk mission statement and the 10 Key Principles when delivering youth information. They disseminate Eurodesk’s information material and help the Eurodesk Network maintain a face-to-face and/or virtual/online connection with young people by organising events and campaigns. Multipliers can access Eurodesk activities and resources, including financial support for specific events and projects, and agree to contribute actively to the Eurodesk Network. Finally, they can use the Eurodesk branding to deliver youth information and represent themselves and their activities externally as part of the Eurodesk Network.
Specific Obligations
Each multiplier, as an active entity in the field of youth information on European mobility issues, partner of the national coordinator of Eurodesk Cyprus and member of the European Eurodesk network, is obliged to:

- mention the Eurodesk network on its website and/or social media and share material published by Eurodesk Cyprus.
- showcase their role as multipliers of the Eurodesk network during events and other dissemination activities.
- actively participate in meetings, trainings and activities organised by either the Eurodesk Cyprus National Coordinator or the Eurodesk Brussels Link (EBL).
- use Eurodesk tools (Intranet Google Workplace, MyEurodesk, Eurodesk Map, Resource Center) to communicate with the national coordinator and other multipliers in Cyprus and abroad.
- actively promote the European Youth Portal and contribute to its content by producing youth-related material (e.g. articles, news, events, videos).
- organise activities (e.g. workshops, information events) at least 2 times a year and definitely 1 time as part of the TimeToMove campaign (every October).
- conduct workshops on opportunities for volunteering and youth participation (“Euroclasses”) in schools, if deemed necessary (the content of the workshops is developed with material provided by the network).
- agree to report information about their work annually to the National Eurodesk Office.
Benefits for Multipliers
Multipliers belong to a large structure of organisations, which gives them the opportunity to benefit from the diversity and wealth of expertise within the network, exchanging experiences and knowledge and developing skills. Multipliers:
- Have the opportunity to participate in training activities and seminars at a national and European level.
- Can network and form synergies with over 1400 multipliers in 36 European countries.
- Have access to reliable and quality information on Europe’s youth policies and programmes through Eurodesk tools and factsheets.
- Receive systematic training on the role of the multiplier and the topics of the workshops conducted by the network in schools, universities, and other institutions.
- Can promote actions and activities they organize for youth through the Eurodesk Cyprus website and social media, as well as the European Youth Portal.
